Management Committee

I came to Woodlarks in 2013 when I was completing my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award. I was unsure what to expect, however after just a few days on site I very quickly understood the magic of Woodlarks. It’s a place where people come together from all walks of life and are enabled to be themselves. It gives you a real sense of grounding and respect.

I have been to camp every year since and love the fact you can be away for a year, but you come back together with people like you’ve never been apart. You are always pleased to see old friends and make new ones along the way.

In 2017 I was asked to join the management committee. I started off taking over fundraising activities, attending community events and hosting games at fete’s. I have now taken more of a general role of the committee.

Outside of camp I enjoy spending time with family and friends and running our little Cockapoo, Bella, in agility competitions.
