General Responsibility

The camp leaders’ handbook, camp leaders’ activity manual, and other Woodlarks’ policies can be found here.

I understand and accept the requirements set out in the camp leaders’ handbook and camp leaders’ activity manual.

I undertake that anyone to whom I may delegate the running of the camp and or the supervision of any activity will obey the same rules and requirements.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool handbook can be found here.

I understand and accept the requirements set out in the swimming pool handbook (only tick this if you intend to use the swimming pool).

I will ensure that all swimming pool personnel are aware of the depth of the pool and that they will ensure that the ‘no diving or jumping’ rules are upheld.

Fire Officers

The fire actions policy can be found here.

I will make sure that the fire officers take on responsibility for ensuring that the fire regulations in the camp leaders’ handbook and the fire actions policy are adhered to.

Safeguarding

The Woodlarks safeguarding policy can be found here.

I will ensure that all helpers who will be providing personal care hold an enhanced DBS certificate, including a check of the barring lists.

I will ensure that a route is established for recording and routing safeguarding concerns and disclosures.

I will ensure that all helpers have received suitable safeguarding training.

Risk Assessments and Insurance

The Woodlarks’ risk assessments and proformas for yours can be found here.

I will ensure that we have risk assessments in place.

I will ensure that we have a full set of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) in place.

I note safety rules concerning the potentially hazardous nature of the site, as covered under public liability insurance in the camp leader’s handbook.

I accept that Woodlarks’ insurers will not accept liability for any accidents, theft or neglect which occur that could be reasonably expected in view of the nature of the campsite property and people thereon.
