It seems astonishing that the founders of this glorious campsite, Grey Heron and Keemo, had the vision to initiate this wonderful facility as long ago as 1930… and they might be equally surprised, and undoubtedly gratified, to see that even now, Woodlarks continues to grow from strength to strength…

What would a flagship centenary celebration that is joyful, inclusive and unmistakably Woodlarks, actually look like?
Remember
There are a hundred years of photographs, films, stories, and voices out there that are part of the bigger Woodlarks story. We already have a rich archive, but how can we exhibit this and ensure that generations of Woodlarkers yet to come can key into and enjoy our shared backstory?
Reconnect
Can we recreate and restore links with former campers, volunteers, trustees, committee members, families, and friends, and find ways to include them in our celebrations?
Create
And might we want to create a new facility, or some other tangible legacy to mark our centenary… something that future generations can see, use, appreciate and enjoy?
